The Reckitt Benckiser Group, makers of Durex condoms, will soon launch a condom that promises to improve a man's erection, increase his stamina and even boost his penis size.
This new condom by Futura, known as CSD500 is often referred to as 'Viagra in a Condom'. It incorporates an erectogenic compound that boosts blood flow within the penis and helps men maintain a firmer, larger and longer-lasting erection during intercourse whilst wearing a condom. The gel will be licensed under the trademarked brand name of Zanifil.
Zanifil is based on the chemical nitroglycerin which is used to treat chest pain and heart failure. It relaxes the muscles in the vessel walls, widening them and increasing blood flow.
The condom has acquired a CE mark in August itself and can be sold over-the-counter in Europe.
The manufacturers hope the product would encourage men to use protection and help curb the spread of sexually transmitted diseases.
