In a shocking incident stray dogs were found feeding on aborted fetuses outside Sambhunath Pandit Hospital on Elgin Road in Kolkata. The incident has triggered widespread outrage in the city.
Locals said dogs found the fetuses wrapped in a gunny bag inside a vat. They dragged them out and completely ate one of the fetuses. “We were informed around 4.30 pm by the hospital authorities. We found a mutilated foetus and handed it over to them," said a senior officer of Bhawanipore police.
