A doctor has revealed that the British bride who died ten days after marrying a local man in India may have been killed by asthma triggered by eating spicy food.
Charlotte Bending, a 24-year-old mother of two, wed Jitender Singh in the northern Indian state of Haryana after they had met while working together in Plymouth, England, the Times of India reported.

"Charlotte was an asthmatic and had visited my place three times before this incident. Three days before she fell ill, she had lots of spicy food which she couldn't digest," he told the newspaper.
Singh said his wife's body would be flown back to her home town of Liskeard in southwest England.
