Delhi Health Minister To Meet Private Hospitals Over Dengue Menace
In the wake of media reports of dengue patients being allegedly refused admissions, Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain would meet representatives of private hospitals and nursing homes in Delhi.
The minister would meet with administrators of all private hospitals and nursing homes in the national capital at 7.00 p.m., a Delhi government statement said.

Earlier during the day, Jain made a surprise visit to Acharya Shree Bhikshu Hospital in Moti Nagar to check preparedness for tackling dengue, officials said.

Six-year-old Aman died due to alleged dengue complications on September 13 night after hospitals denied him admission, his family members said on Tuesday.

Earlier, an Odisha couple whose seven-year-old son Avinash Rout died of dengue committed suicide by jumping from the fourth floor of a building.

The boy was allegedly denied admission by five hospitals - Moolchand Hospital, Aakash Hospital, Saket City Hospital, Max Hospital (Saket) and Irene Hospital (Kalkaji).
