Crystals may Help Stave Off Food Cravings
Researchers in the United States have developed a new form of crystals that are very helpful in keeping away from those extra helpings by convincing the brain that the body does not need the food.
The crystals, known as Sensa Tastant, can be sprinkled on the food items which then give out an aroma signaling to the brain that the stomach is full even if the user has eaten minimum amount of food.

Led by Dr Alan Hirsch, a neurologist at the Smell and Taste Treatment and Research Foundation in Chicago, the research included more than 1,400 participants over a period of six months with the researchers stating that the participants lost an average of 2 stones.

“Because Sensa works with your body’s natural impulses, rather than against them, there are no feelings of hunger or intense cravings. Exercise is the biggest tool for weight loss, but if you help people lose weight in the first place they automatically begin to take more exercise”, Dr Hirsch added.
