Criminals Use Web to Terrorise People
Thugs who use Facebook, Twitter and other social networking sites to taunt or intimidate victims would be facing a crackdown, announces British Justice Secretary Chris Grayling.
Grayling promised tough punishments for lags who post photos online to brag about their easy life in jail, has vowed to do more to help victims.

It comes after growing concerns over the way criminals use the web to terrorise people, with 350 inmates, including murderers, caught at it in the past two years, The Sun reports.

"A quarter who attended court to give evidence reported they or their family were intimidated. That can't be right," Grayling said.

"It means tougher action on anti-social yobs making neighbours' lives a misery, and offenders bullying their victims on social media sites," he added.

Vowing to end the idea of cushy jails, he added; "Offenders who take pictures of themselves purporting to be having an easy time will face serious consequences," the paper said.
