Conformable GORE TAG Thoracic Endoprosthesis to be Launched in US

Delaware-based W L Gore & Associates announced that it will be introducing its Conformable GORE TAG Thoracic Endoprosthesis in the United States after it received approval from the Food and Drug Administration.

The company revealed that its device is the only thoracic endoprosthesis approved by the FDA for treating young trauma patients who have isolated lesions of the thoracic aorta. The company added that the device is easy to use and accommodates “tapered anatomy and resisting compression.”
