But with the same up-beat tone, she told viewers about the easy availability of concentrated acid in India. She has asked her viewers to sign a petition called “ Make Love Not Scars” to ban the the over-the-counter sale of acid.

As many as 1,000 acid attacks in India every year, and almost 90% of these victims are women. Therefore her video exhibited the urgent need for banning the sale of concentrated acids in India.
