Computer Power to Give Spice Girls' Weak Voices a Boost!

The Spice Girls are just an announcement away from their reunion, but it seems that the vivacious five have lost touch with their singing skills, for they are planning to belt out their comeback songs with the help of computer power.

The entire world is fervently awaiting their return, but aides closer to them have been less impressed with their vocal abilities.

According to reports, Ginger, Scary, Sporty, Baby and Posh are making trips to the studio to pre-record the songs for their comeback tour with the intention of hiding the shortcomings of their own live voices.

On stage, they will make use of a new hi-tech system, which will present the digitally improved recordings as their own voices.

The system works by taking the singer's live voice on stage and electronically comparing it to the perfect vocal sounds that have previously been recorded in the studio.

So, when the all-girl band sings out of synch on stage, the computer, to correct the pitch and tone, immediately mends the mistakes in their voices, in less than a tenth of a second.

"As they sing, the computer program corrects the mistakes so that the sound comes out as the desired sound - so they appear to be able to sing really well live," the Daily Mail quoted an industry source, as saying.

However, a Spice Girls spokesman asserted that detailed touring logistics regarding the use of live vocal improvement had not yet been discussed.

"They all have great singing voices," the spokeswoman said.
