Research suggests that one can boost their memory by just balling up their fists. This movement is thought to stimulate the brain region in charge of memory.
Researchers have found that, just balling up the right hand and squeezing it tightly could help you memorize lists with ease. Recall the lists are also easy by clenching the left fist and squeezing it tightly.
Researchers found that the movement of clenching the right fist stimulates a brain area which is in charge of storing memories, while squeezing the left hand activates an area that takes care of retrieving information.
Lead researcher Dr Ruth Propper said: 'The findings suggest that simple body movements - by temporarily changing the way the brain functions - can improve memory.'
