People who like 'sweet' pleasure are in for a disappointment, for chocolate spreads for sex have been taken off the shelves amid fears that they are tainted with a toxic chemical.
Recently, melamine contaminated milk powder in China led huge furore after it led to the death of four babies and caused 54,000 tots to fall ill.
Scared of harmful effects related with melamine, couples in UK have now been warned that the chocolate spreads might be tainted with the deadly industrial chemical.
Ann Summers stores said that it had withdrawn the 'willy spread' and 'nipple spread' novelties from its shelves, website and its parties held in people's homes.
It is believed that melamine can cause kidney failure.
According to Food Standards Agency, Ann Summers' "I Love You" pen set containing a chocolate body pen, strawberry body pen, chocolate willy spread and chocolate nipple spread, was found to contain melamine.
"This is a first. We've never had to put out an alert before on willy spread, chocolate-flavoured or otherwise," The Sun quoted an agency spokesman, as saying.
The spokesman added: "But if anybody has used any of the affected products they shouldn't worry, the risk from the melamine in these products is low and it's very unlikely to be harmful."
An Ann Summers spokesman said it had "taken all relevant steps to remove the chocolate willy spread product."
The European Commission has banned goods having more than 2.5mg of melamine per kilogram.
The body pens were said to contain 126mg/kg, the willy spread 153mg/kg and the nipple spread 259mg/kg.
