Chinese Boy Whose Eyes Were Gouged Out Receives Implants
A hospital in Southern China came to the rescue of the 6-year-old Chinese boy, Bin Bin, whose eyes were gouged out in a horrific attack, by offering implants.
The hospital owned by a Hong Kong doctor came forward to do the surgery after they heard about the lethal attack.

The surgery was successful and in six weeks they would move to the next level of fitting the boy with prosthetic eyes. These implants cannot restore vision, though there is a plan to fit navigation sensors which would allow the boy to make his way in known areas.

The hospital had decided to treat the boy free of charge after they heard about the lethal attack.

It is still not known who committed this heinous act, although police suspect that the boy’s aunt gouged his eyes. The women committed suicide, so the police have not been able to make much headway in this case. Investigations about the motive of the crime are on.
