Children Grow Up Early Owing to too Much TV, Internet Exposure
A new study has claimed that many 88% parents believe their children are under pressure to grow up too quickly. They believe that celebrity culture, adult style clothes, internet and music videos are encouraging children to act older than their age.

More than 50% parents were unhappy with TV programs and advertisements as there existed increasingly sexualized content in music videos and 'too adult' themes in some soap operas. It is also becoming difficult for parents to monitor the use of internet among children. Smartphones give the children easy access to internet pornography and advertising.

35% parents were unhappy about direct advertising through mobile phones. Parents also revealed to be under pressure to buy non-essential items like smartphones for their children so that the children do not feel left out. More than moral panic the parents concerns are from their everyday experiences which prevents the parents from parenting the way they want to.
