 Check If You Wash Your Hands Well
It is good to examine if you wash your hands properly especially after using the toilet.
A recent study on the extent of personal hygiene maintained has found that people do not wash their hands properly after using the toilet. This unhygienic practice could be adversely affecting their health.

In a study of 3,749 people, scientists studied the manner in which people washed their hands. Results showed that 60% of them especially women did not wash their hands the way they should.

The study also found that 10.3 per cent did not care to wash their hands while 22.8 per cent washed them, but with no soap. Only 5.3 per cent washed their hands for more than 15 seconds.

Our unwashed hands after using the toilet are a hotbed of germs and a potential route for disease setting in. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has brought out proper rules for cleaning hands perfectly and that includes washing both hands with soap and water by rubbing them together with pressure for at least 20 seconds.

In that respect, the fair sex was far cleaner. 15% of men did not wash their hands at all as compared to 7.1 per cent of women.
