 Changing Room Rage Grips Women
This may be a common scenario in high street apparel stores - women queuing up to try on clothes they like, and waiting endlessly for their turn inside cramped and cluttered trial rooms. Angry scenes and arguments with retail assistants ensue and many women storm out of the shops irritated, angry and frustrated with the whole experience.
This is a new type of rage, named as the ‘changing room rage’ or CRR sweeping many women, leaving them frustrated, sad, disappointed and angry. A recent study of more than 1200 women in UK has shown that 75% of women are victims of this condition.

Psychologists say that women buy clothes to boost their confidence and self-esteem. When the whole experience turns negative, it can drain them emotionally. The effects of this negative experience can affect relationships within the family as well.

The study also revealed that the most vulnerable lot for changing room rage were women in the 30-39 age bracket. Whatever happened to the emotional gains of retail therapy?
