A celiac disease sufferer in Calgary has opened up a new shop offering only gluten-free products after she struggled to find any gluten-free food in the markets.

Sheena McFarlane admitted that it is not a novel idea; she revealed that her place will offer all perishable and non-perishable items at a single place.
People suffering from celiac disease have to avoid any food items that contain gluten, a protein that is found in commonly consumed items such as wheat, barley and rye. Eating any such food products triggers a response from the immune system that damages the lining of small intestine, causing a number of health problems such as rashes or diarrhea.
