Canadian singer, Celine Dion has axed her two Las Vegas performances, after being diagnosed with viral infection.
Her official website stated that the 39-year old singer was suffering from a viral infection and needs time to recover.

"Celine is fighting a viral infection, which causes fever, muscle cramps, dehydration and a number of other discomforts. She is on doctor's orders to rest and take in plenty of fluids in order to recover from the infection," E! News quoted her official website, as stating.
Owing to the diagnosis, Celine was forced to cancel her performances scheduled for 11th and 12th of Oct.
On February 14, 2008, the Grammy-award winner will kick start her South African and European tour of South Africa in Johannesburg, supporting her new album, Taking Chances.
'Taking Chances' is due to be out on November 13.
