An outdoor smoking shelter is being considered for children to light up between the classes at Headlands School in Penarth, near Cardiff.

"The aim is to restrict smoking to a small area," the Sun quoted Principal Matthew Burns as saying.

However, British Medical Association spokesman John Jenkins has condemned the move calling it inappropriate.

He said: "We don't think it's appropriate."
