Breast Milk Banks in the U.S Running Dry

Breast Milk Banks in the U.S Running Dry
Unable to meet the demand for donated breast milk, the breast milk banks are running dry for the first time in the U.S.
Due to this shortage, many hospitals are being denied their supply of breast milk.

Breast milk banks have always chipped in to meet the demand for human milk at hospitals, especially to meet the needs of babies born prematurely for whom human milk is required to keep them safe and healthy.

Though donation of breast milk goes on unabated, the present crisis is because demand is more than the supply.
