Brangelina Dismisses Reports of Zahara's Hip Surgery

by VR Sreeraman on September 16, 2007 at 2:04 PM

Celebrity couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have dismissed reports that their adopted daughter Zahara is in need of hip surgery, insisting the news is "not true".

An article in US magazine Star claimed that Pitt and Jolie, who adopted Zahara from Ethiopia in 2005, would do "whatever it takes" to fix the two-year-old Zahara's hip dysplasia, a congenital condition that could affect her ability to walk in future, imdb.com reported.

But Pitt's publicist Cindy Guagenti said the reports were false. She said: "It's not true, and I told the magazine that printed it, but they chose to run it anyways."
