 Brad Pitt Stopped Smoking Pot for Kids' Sake

Brad Pitt has revealed that he used to smoke pot, but kicked the habit when he became a father.

During an interview with HBO's Bill Maher in which the host congratulated Pitt on his 'stoner role' in the 1993 film, 'True Romance,' Pitt admitted that he used to smoke pot.

"I certainly had my day," Usmagazine.com quoted him as saying.

Pitt, who raises six kids Maddox, 7, Pax, 5, Zahara, 4, Shiloh, 3, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 1, with partner Angelina Jolie, said he quit the habit for the sake of his children.

"I'm a dad now. You want to be alert and my eyes used to glaze over when I did that," he added.
