Boston has been ranked as 'America's drunkest city' in 2011, according to rankings on The Daily Beast website.

The rankings were based on market-research data on the average number of alcoholic drinks consumed per month by residents in more than 200 cities; and percentage of binge drinkers or heavy drinkers in a metro area based on data from the Centers for Disease Control.
