MedscapeIndia is Bringing its 3rd National Awards ceremony where many renowned Bollywood celebrities will stand for the Medical and Healthcare industry.  The awards were an initiative to recognize the heroism of those who have displayed courage and inspired many in their fight against disease and disability. These awards aspire to set a new benchmark for the stakeholders of the healthcare industry, thus encouraging them to further scale up their efforts in order to provide affordable quality healthcare to consumers. The top honours will be awarded in 20 categories at the grand ceremony. The award consists of a beautiful ebony and gold trophy that symbolizes the "International symbol of healthcare." The award ceremony will be held on 26th April 2014 where the event will be graced by stage performance by renowned personalities from Bollywood. The 3rd National Awards ceremony 2014 will be full of glam and glitz as most of the Bollywood's biggest stars along with many legends from health care & sports icon will grace the occasion. The event will also witness some energetic and zealous performances by the Bollywood stars & women empowered   act that will set the stage on fire which will be televised on the National Channel.

Krrish 3 star Hrithik Roshan, who went under brain surgery said, "Doctors are the savior, they are the real heroes and I think they are the most amazing person for the society and human beings."

Pain hits many of Bollywood's glamorous stars as Amitabh Bachchan about his "horrendous pain" that made it difficult for him to "walk, stand, sit or lie down". Shah Rukh Khan's Pain in his ribs on which he said, "Hurts only when I laugh or breathe." Salman Khan complained of "unbearable pain" in his jaws and cheeks, a recurring issue which are all treated by the doctors.
