Government Hospitals in Bengaluru Suffer Due to Inefficiency in Hospital services
Karnataka Health Minister, U.T. Khader, promised an action plan to decrease pressure in two major government hospitals in Bengaluru on April 7.
Various government hospitals in the city provide inefficient services which increases pressure on Victoria Hospital and Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital located in the heart of the city.

The minister blamed medical superintendents of K.C. General Hospital, Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health, Jayanagar besides government hospitals at K.R. Puram and Yelahanka for not discharging their duties with honesty and integrity.

“If the medical superintendents discharged their duty keeping the interest of patients in mind, the situation would have been totally different,” said Minster Khader.

To overcome the problems faced by patients in the Intensive Care and Dialysis units in various hospitals, the Minister has promised to procure necessary equipment.
