 Beer Doubles Fertility in Men
In men drinking around a pint and a half of beer per night increases their fertility rates, reveals study.
Researchers from the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, assessed the habits of 105 men with an average age of 37 whose partners were undergoing IVF between 2007 and 2013, and found that men who consumed at least 22g of alcohol daily, had double the chances to become fathers through IVF than those who didn't, News.com.au reported.

Meanwhile, the study also found that Caffeine could be harmful for fertility, as men who drank at least 265mg of coffee were the least likelier to have kids.

However, their chances improved to nearly 52 percent if they had less than a cup of coffee.

Lead author Dr Anatte Karmon said that while alcohol consumption showed improvement in the chances of achieving a clinical pregnancy in men, high male caffeine consumption decreased the possibility.
