BD Pharmaceutical Introduces Two New Pre-Filled Drug Delivery Devices In India

Two new prefilled drug delivery devices - one for chronic diseases and another for vaccination are introduced at Technovation 2015 by BD Medical - Pharmaceutical Systems.

Prefilled drug delivery devices are launched with an aim to reduce medication and dosage errors and improved patient compliance to injectable drugs.

BD Neopak is a single-dose, ready-to-use glass prefillable syringe system. It is an advanced version of normal prefillable syringe, which offers additional benefits of prefillable syringe system such as lesser injection time, lessor errors, reduced contamination and much better productivity to patients and clinicians.

BD Uniject SCF (Sterile, Clean and ready to Fill) is a single-use prefilled auto disable injection system that protects against inappropriate needle reuse. It is a tamper roof system, which can be used by healthcare workers for great coverage of outreach programs such as mass immunization.

Both forms of drug delivery system assist in the process of administering pharmaceutical compounds to achieve desired effect far more quickly and effectively.
