Ban Likely for Synthetic Cannabis Substance
A temporary ban is likely for a substance found in samples of a synthetic cannabis product, and this was linked with increase in heart rate and psychosis.
When police seized two K2 samples they found EAM-2201; after the ban takes effect, it will not be legal to import, manufacture, sell or supply the substance from December 6.

According to experts, EAM-2201’s risk is as much as the risk of already banned substances.

"Any product containing EAM-2201 must be off the market under this order, which will stay in force for 12 months. This is clearly not a product we want in the market place, and the fact that it is on the market tells you that we have an industry that does not give a damn about the safety of its customers."
