A woman delivered her baby in the toilet of the government hospital in Varanasi, but the baby did not live. The woman was said to be suffering from anemia and jaundice and hence had to be shifted to Divisional Government SPG hospital on July 11 after initially being admitted to the government women hospital in an advanced state of pregnancy. It has emerged that she delivered the baby when she went to the toilet last night. The cause of death of the baby is unknown and hospital authorities are not revealing anything. Police are looking into why she was shifted to another hospital from the government center.
