The ailing, 88-year-old Baba Amte was rushed here Friday from his leprosy rehabilitation centre Anandvan in Warora town of Maharashtra's Chandrapur district after he started losing blood through urine.

"The necessary medical examinations will be done Sunday and Baba will, in all probability, need a bone marrow transplant," Vikas told IANS.
