Australian Actor Harold Hopkins Dies from Mesothelioma

Sixty seven year old  Australian actor Harold Hopkins passed away in a Sydney hospital following  a  battle with mesothelioma,  asbestos-related cancer. His family is of the opinion that he may have    contracted cancer during his  first job after high school, when he took up   asbestos sheeting as an apprentice carpenter in south-east Queensland in the early 1960s.

He is survived by his twin brother, John, and five other siblings, Naomi, Michael, Gregory, Margaret and Suzanne.
