Ashton Kutcher On Recovery Path After Ruptured Eardrum

American actor Ashton Kutcher is said to be recovering from a ruptured eardrum he sustained on the set of his new movie 'Five Killers'.

Kutcher, 31, was filming scenes for the action comedy in Nassau with co-star Katherine Heigl when he complained of a severe headache, and took a break from shooting.

But crewmembers, who became worried when they noticed he had a bloody ear, admitted him to a nearby medical centre where doctors diagnosed the problem and treated the actor.

Kutcher's wife, actress Demi Moore, dashed to his bedside when she heard the news, but was relieved to find her hubby joking around with medical staff and film assistants.

"When Ashton saw Demi, he said cheerfully, 'Hi, honey! I'm fine. Come join the party!'" Contactmusic quoted a source as telling the National Enquirer.

After he was given the all clear from the hospital, Kutcher continued with filming of the movie.

"Ashton was a trouper. He didn't even miss a day of filming," the source added.
