Anna Hazare's Health Stable, Say Doctors

Doctors attending Anna Hazare have said that the condition of the septuagenarian is stable.
Dr. Naresh Trehan, the head of Gurgaon's Medicity Hospital and the leader of medical team monitoring his health, said: "We have examined Anna. His condition is stableP and heartbeat is also stable. We examine his blood sample and report will come by evening."

On Wednesday night, Dr Trehan Anna was doing fine and that his vital stats were alright.

"We have just examined Annaji. His blood test reports have arrived. As compared to yesterday, some figures (in the report) have stabilized, while others have improved. His blood pressure and heart rate is more stable," he added

Hazare's blood pressure was recorded at 160 by 90 and the pulse rate was 82 during the evening check-up.

Hazare, 74, has refused to be administered glucose drip. He has been asked to drink a lot of water and told not to take any strain.

Hazare has been on fast since August 16, the day he was arrested and taken to Tihar Jail. He was released the same day, but he refused to leave. He shifted to Ramlila ground here August 19 where he has been continuing with his fast.
