AIIMS Bhopal is struggling to cope with five other AIIMS, which began functioning alongside. "Institute has been delayed by over two and half years," he added.

MP chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, "We will take up the issue with the union government and ensure its timely completion. AIIMS Bhopal will prove a boon for all across central India and even boost medical tourism in the region."
