Manuel Uribe, who was otherwise known as the world's heaviest man, has again stepped out of his home for an outing with his girlfriend. This is the first time in five months that he has left his house and gone outdoors.
The 43-year-old, who once weighed nearly 560kg, went on a day trip to a lake in Northern Mexico, reports the Daily Telegraph. He was taken from his home on a forklift, and loaded onto a platform truck.
Uribe has been dieting, and now weighs around 310kg.
He lay on a specially designed bed throughout the trip to the lake, and ate fish and vegetables with girlfriend Claudia Solis, 38.
His last trip was in March 2007, when six people pushed his bed out to the street as a mariachi band played, and a crowd gathered to greet him.
