One Glass of Wine Makes You More Attractive

It’s official! Drinking a glass of wine can make you look more attractive to potential suitors, says a new research study. However, it also warns against drinking too much.

The study, by University of Bristol, School of Experimental Psychology, asked a group of heterosexual consumers consisting of 20 women and 20 men to complete an attractiveness-rating task. The volunteers were given photographs of models to rate their attractiveness. The models were photographed sober, after drinking 250 ml of wine and also after drinking 500ml of wine.

The volunteers rated the models as more attractive after drinking one glass (250ml) of wine than when sober. Researchers suggest that a glass of wine increases positive mood and facial flushing.
