In a bizarre incident, Michigan police are claiming that a 41-year old woman shot herself so that she can get treatment for her chronic painful condition in the shoulder.
Kathy Myers, an unemployed 41-year old, injured herself in the shoulder when playing with dogs. However since she had no health insurance, meeting with a specialist would have proven very expensive.
