Vogue Italia Features 3 Plus-size Models To Fight Anorexia

Vogue Italia's July issue to carry three plus-size model on the cover in an effort to fight anorexia.

Rather than hide their figures in floaty dresses, or cut them off at the waist, the three models, Tara Lynn, Candice Huffine and Robyn Lawley, appear on the cover in their underwear.

The move came after editor Franca Sozzani started an online petition against pro-anorexia websites.

"Fashion has been always blamed as one of the culprits of anorexia, and our commitment is the proof that fashion is ready to get on the frontline and struggle against the disorder," the Daily Mail quoted her as saying.

Sozzani who had also promised to feature more plus-sized models in the future said:' "Why should these women slim down?
