The Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) confirmed the death of a Canada goose with bird flu.
The case was reported near Abbotsbury Swannery, from where the previous 10 cases were collected."The finding of more cases in wild birds is not unexpected ... We are currently considering whether any additional restrictions are necessary in the area," Britain's farm ministry said in a statement.
The deadly H5N1 stain has already taken the lives of about 230 people and millions of birds since 2003
