 Turning Brown Eyes into Blue
A scientist from California has come out with a new procedure which is capable of turning brown eyes into blue.
Stroma Medical, the company which is the brain behind this procedure has confirmed that it is safe, though the color change is permanent.

This technique involves the use of a special laser which destroys the brown pigment melanin in the iris.

The whole treatment takes about 20 seconds and the color change happens slowly in two to three weeks.

Some experts do not view this procedure as absolutely safe as they fear that the seepage of melanin into the fluid within the eye can cause a blinding condition called pigmentary glaucoma.

This technique is still in the testing phase and should be available in the US in the next 18 months or so.
