Toddler Overcomes Leukemia on His Own

A toddler who had a relapse of leukemia for the third time and was given weeks to live has surprised one and all by overcoming the deadly disease on his own.

Jordan Harden's parents were devastated when doctors told them to take him home to die.

"They said there was nothing more they could do and gave him a few weeks to live," News of the World quoted mum Claire, 26, as saying.

"But that was six months ago and just look at him now! No-one can explain why the cancer has suddenly disappeared.

"The surgeon who phoned me with the news said he couldn't believe it. I just burst into tears," she added.

Jordan, now three, started his fight against acute lymphoblastic leukaemia when he was just ten weeks old.

Ken Campbell, of the Leukaemia Research Fund, told us: "There is no medical explanation for his recovery."
