People in Bangalore now need not to worry about chronic lifestyle diseases like high blood pressure and diabetes, as a US-based doctor has found a solution to the problem.
Dr. Sunil S Jhangini recently launched 'Nutrition Vista' for the first time in India at Telerad RxDx, a specialty clinic in Bangalore.'Nutrition Vista with a convergence of offline and online health service is specially developed for Information Technology (IT) and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) employees who are prone to lifestyle diseases,' said Dr. Jhangini
Jhangini said that these employees are usually unable to avail medical assistance due to lack of time. 'Therefore, “Nutrition Vista” has been initiated to provide them with 24/7 online health service,' he added.
Dr. Belliappa, the head of the Telerad RxDx Centre said that at a minimal cost of Rs.350 per hour, peoplecan avail the service online. Some IT companies like AVIVA and Shell have registered for the service, he added.
According to a dietician, such services can improve lifestyle.
'With this service, the working professional can balance both work and maintain good health,' said Dr. Sonia. S, a dietician and in-charge of 'Nutrition Vista'.
