Rare Allergic Condition Seen in Brit Girl
A four year girl in Britain is suffering from a rare allergic condition which leads to formation of rashes across her body if she is exposed to sunlight.
Tia Davies, who lives in Droitwich, Worcestershire, is forced to wear long sleeves and trousers throughout the year and a special hat and hypoallergenic gloves which protect her from sun rays. The windows in her house are also covered with blue UV filter.

Tia’s mother Selena revealed that her daughter is suffering from a rare condition known as erythropoietic protoporphyria. Less than 400 people in the country are affected by this condition which makes the victim allergic to sun rays.

Selena said that she first noticed the problem when Tia was one year old. However she revealed that her daughter has taken it into stride. “She doesn’t whinge when I tell her she has come inside because she’s had too much sun. She’s been so brave, even when she cries at night. She’s our little sunshine”, she said.
