A pillow fight in Penang of major proportions, and all for a good cause.

Penang is all set to hold the world's largest pillow fight for a benefit cause on November 21.

Nearly 4,500 people are expected to batter one another with pillows in the event, which will raise funds for the Children's Protection Society, SPCA Penang and St Nicholas Home.

The open stage at the Penang Times Square will host the gala titled, Fight for a Good Cause - World's Largest Pillow Fight Guinness World Record Attempt.

The event is slated to begin at 10am. Tickets are available at RM5 if a participant brings his/her own pillow and RM15 inclusive of a pillow.

The New Century Lions Club of Penang Island, Penang Leo Clubs, PCGHS Rangers, In-teract Club and Catcheye.com.my are jointly organising the fun event.

"We are targetting 4,500 participants to break the record. The event will not only showcase Penang and Malaysia to the world but also show that Malaysians are generous in helping the needy," the Star Online quoted organising chairman Tommy, as saying.
