An octogenarian pensioner has been banned from driving for the next 1000 years, after constant court appearances for negligent driving, driving without a licence and failing to give particulars.
Luba Relic, 84, has had 78 court fights with neighbours to her name and was already banned from driving until 2999.And now, a Manly Court magistrate has added another year for her latest misdemeanours and extended her ban till the year 3000.
The court was told that the RTA suspended her licence for "medical reasons."
But in September, she crashed into a Honda Civic outside a St Vincent De Paul shop in Oxford Rd, Brookvale.
"I saw the cars coming very close together and heard a crunching noise," The Daily Telegraph quoted witness James Pollet as saying.
Relic pleaded not guilty while defending herself, but the magistrate fined her 1000 dollars, ordered her to pay costs and added a year to her licence ban.
