Medical Education & Research Minister of Punjab, Tikshan Sud, has come down heavily on private Medical, Ayurvedic, Homeopathic, Nursing and Para-Medical colleges, warning them of strict action, even de recognition, if they are operating on government unapproved sites.
During a recent inspection conducted by a special team, gross abnormalities came to light as medical institutes were not housed in sanctioned premises. The government has warned of strict action on those institutes that fail to comply with government imposed guidelines.
