Many women were admitted to hospitals in Bihar and Orissa after they developed rashes on the skin following mehendi application on Eid.
Orissa's Balasore and Bhadrak districts had some 300 women sick with nausea, skin rash and swelling on the arms. "Fifteen seriously ill women were admitted at the hospital and most others were released after anti-allergic treatment," Chief Medical Officer of Bhadrak, Bhagaban Dixit, said.
