Meet the ‘Sheep Boy’ With ‘Mowgli Syndrome’

A teenage boy in the former Soviet Union has been found living with a flock of sheep for eight years, and thought to be sharing the shelter meant for animals.

He cannot speak any language and lacks basic cleanliness and hygiene.

Experts who studied him have said that he suffers from ‘Mowgli’ syndrome. They boy may never be able to read or write.

He tears off the socks and shoes that nurses have put on his feet.

The boy may have come with his parents from Kyrgyzstan to Russia in search of employment. He was being cared for by his grandmother till she died.

It is believed that the grandmother took care of him until she died.
