Keeping Food Stuff Safe After the Storm
Unexpected power cuts are quite the norm after a storm and in the scenario how does one keep food safe?
Good planning is essential in storing perishable foods safely. To keep the food hygienic, do not open the refrigerator or freezer door unnecessarily. When fridge doors are closed for a long time, they keep food cold for a couple of hours.

Keep a cooler with ice ready in case power outage is more than 4 hours. It is good to store milk, diary products, fish and eggs in the cooler.
