E! Host Giuliana Rancic Says She Has Breast Cancer

E! Entertainment Television host, Giuliana Rancic has revealed on the “Today Show” that she has been diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer. Rancic, who hosts the popular entertainment shows “Fashion Police” and “E! News” said that she was diagnosed with breast cancer after undergoing mammography at the insistence of her infertility specialist.

The 36-year old said that after two of her IVF treatments failed, her doctor insisted that he will not try to restart another treatment until the risk of breast cancer was completely ruled out. Speaking on the show, Rancic said that her doctor told her to undergo a mammography scan because getting pregnant could accelerate the cancer.

“They called me the next day and told me, ‘We need to you to come back, we see something’. I'm not going to give up. I want that baby. That baby will have saved my life”, she said.
