Drowning Common in Portable Pools too
Parents need to stay warned about the risk of children drowning in portable pools.
A new study has revealed that a child drowns every five days in portable pools.  Portable pools are a common feature during the summer months.

Research has pointed out that nearly 209 children under the age of 12 have died in portable pools from 2001 to 2009. 94 percent of them were below five years of age.

Safety measures around portable pools like a fence, or a gate and warning is a must to prevent drowning among smaller children.

Parents must also keep strict vigil on their children playing in portable pools.
